EMDR & Brainspotting Intensives
In Pensacola & online throughout Florida & Alabama
Because you’re ready to heal today, not 6 months from now.
An intensive may be right for you if:
You’ve tried therapy but still feel stuck
You want to process trauma or chronic illness stress more fully.
You’re ready for faster relief than weekly sessions provide
An EMDR intensive is a focused 1–3 day therapy experience where we spend several hours each day processing trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress. This deeper work helps you find relief and momentum much faster than weekly sessions.
What is an EMDR Intensive?
Your Trauma Deserves More Than Generic Therapy.
You’ve tried the weekly therapy route.
Fifty minutes goes by in a blur.
You barely scratch the surface.
By the next week, the momentum is gone.
Meanwhile, childhood wounds, religious or sexual trauma, and even chronic illness symptoms keep pressing down on you. It feels like life is unraveling — and you don’t have years to wait for relief.
Weekly Therapy Opens the Wound… But Doesn’t Let It Heal.
What Makes EMDR Intensives Different?
Most therapy ends just when you’re starting to open up. You share something hard, the clock runs out, and a week later you have to pick it back up — if you can. That stop-and-start cycle can feel slow and frustrating.
Intensives break that cycle.
Instead of opening pain and shutting it down week after week, you get extended, focused time to move all the way through.
With EMDR Intensives, you can:
Stay with the work long enough to move through deep material in one uninterrupted block of time.
See progress in days, not months, ideal if you’ve felt stuck or need change now.
Go beyond coping skills and actually reprocess the experiences fueling anxiety, chronic stress, or trauma responses.
Leave with clarity and momentum so healing doesn’t feel like a never-ending project.
This format was designed for people carrying heavy trauma histories,
childhood wounds, religious shame, sexual trauma, or even the added weight of chronic illness. If you’ve ever wished you could get to the root faster and finally feel relief, an intensive can create the space to do that.
When your nervous system has been carrying pain for decades, you don’t need “just one more weekly session.
You need a safe, immersive approach that finally creates change.
Intensives are available in-person in Pensacola or virtually throughout Florida or Alabama.
For clients navigating chronic illness or autoimmune disease, we also offer a specialized Autoimmune & Medical Trauma Intensive designed to calm the nervous system and release the stress your body has been carrying.

Together, we’ll create a personalized plan so you walk into your intensive feeling ready and grounded.
-
1 to 3 full days of EMDR + Brainspotting (6–12 hours total).
Extended time means you don’t lose momentum after 50 minutes — you can stay in the work and actually move through it.
Breaks are built in so you can process at your own pace.
-
Integration session to make sure your healing sticks.
You’ll leave with tools and resources you can use daily.
Optional follow-up sessions available if you want more support.
From the very first call to your final session, you’ll be guided every step of the way — so you’re never left wondering, “What now?”
When life feels like it’s falling apart, waiting months or years to feel better isn’t an option.
Every day stuck in the same cycle costs you more — more energy, more peace, more of yourself.
An EMDR Intensive is an investment in freedom.

During the Intensive
Sessions are typically 3–6 hours per day and customized to your needs.
We use evidence-based EMDR protocols, tailored to your pace and comfort. Breaks and self-regulation strategies are built in.
After the Intensive
You’ll receive a personalized integration plan, with follow-up options, resources, and referrals as needed. You’re never left on your own.
Is EMDR Intensive Right for Me?
An intensive may be right for you if:
• You’ve done weekly therapy and still feel trapped in repeating cycles.
• You’re dealing with trauma, autoimmune stress, or chronic illness that won’t settle.
• You’d rather heal in days than struggle for months.
What is an EMDR intensive?
It’s a deep, concentrated 1–3 day therapy experience where we spend several focused hours each day processing what your system has held onto. Because we stay in the work, you get to leave with momentum, relief, and clarity not just more questions and unfinished trauma processing.
What’s Included?

Frequently Asked Questions
-
An EMDR Intensive is a focused, extended block of therapy, usually 1, 2, or 3 days, where we spend several hours together each day doing EMDR. Because we have more time, we can move through the full processing cycle in one sitting, helping you get relief faster and leave feeling grounded instead of raw.
-
Most intensives include 4.5 to 6 hours per day of therapy time, broken into focused EMDR sessions with breaks in between. We will talk during our consult call if these hours work best for you or if you’d like to break them down into 2-3 hour chunks. These longer sessions allows us to go deep without overwhelming your nervous system, work fully through the memories and each phase of EMDR, and have time to close out and practice coping skills as needed.
-
Weekly therapy can be powerful, but you often have to stop right when things get intense, leaving you feeling emotional and unfinished. Intensives let us stay with the work long enough to resolve the memory completely, so you leave feeling lighter and calmer by the end of the day. They’re also ideal if you want results in a short period of time (or don’t want to wait months for progress).
-
I’ll guide you through the whole process, but here’s what helps:
Plan to keep your schedule light before and after your intensive.
Get a good night’s sleep beforehand.
Wear comfortable clothing.
Bring water, snacks, and anything you need for comfort.
If we’re working virtually, set up a private space with a good internet connection and something soft nearby (blanket, pillow).
-
After your intensive, you have the option to schedule an integration sessions to help your brain fully “settle” the work we’ve done. You’ll leave with grounding tools, strategies for self-care, and next steps if you want to work on additional memories in the future. If not, we can talk about setting you up with a traditional therapist for weekly or monthly check in’s and I will help set up that referral process with you.
-
It depends on what you want to work on. One-day intensives are best for a single, specific event (like a medical procedure, accident, or one-time trauma). If you have a history of complex trauma, multiple memories, or chronic stress, I recommend a two- or three-day intensive so we have time to address more layers and help you leave feeling deeply regulated.
During your 90-minute intake, we’ll create a personalized plan and lock in the best package for you so you know exactly what to expect before your intensive begins.
-
Yes! if you live in Florida or Alabama, you can do your intensive from home. I’ll help you set up your space so you feel safe and supported, and we pace things carefully so you can work deeply without getting overwhelmed. You can also travel to me if you are in another state. Many people enjoy setting up a little “mini retreat” to come visit me (and the beaches) for their healing.
-
Each intensive includes a 90-minute intake, extended EMDR sessions, grounding breaks, and two follow-up integration sessions. You can see current pricing above in the “Packages” section
When you compare it to weekly therapy, intensives are often more cost-effective and faster:
Weekly therapy: $150 x 24 weeks (6 months) = $3,600
1-day intensive package: $2,000
2-day intensive package: $2,750
3-day intensive package: $3,500
Instead of spreading therapy out over half a year (or more, most people are in therapy for longer than a year), you can accomplish the same — or more — progress in just 1–3 days, with built-in follow-up support. This saves you time, money, and months of feeling stuck.
I’m an out-of-network provider, but I can give you a superbill for the intake session if you want to submit for possible insurance reimbursement.
